As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. The Technology Presales Organization and the BI Competency organization is seeking an experienced and independent-minded presales consultant to help grow the BI business.
This is a key element to drive the success of our Business Intelligence solutions. The main role is to be involved as the expert in the sales cycle and to drive the success of our Business Intelligence solutions by being able to articulate the value proposition and the benefits of our solution, both internally to our sales force, and externally to our partners and of course our customers and prospects
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Domain expert and responsible for presales work on strategic Business Intelligence sales cycle (requirements, meetings and understanding of the customer’s needs, preparation, presentation and demonstration of our solution)
Leader and Evangelist of the Business Intelligence Solution internally and educate sales rep and partner on the benefits and selling points for this solution.
Development of sales/presales and demo materials to address the specific needs business requirements in his country
Design, build, tune and demonstrate prototypes/Proofs of Concept that highlight the key strengths of the BI solution set.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fluent in French, English and any additional Language.
Strong pre-sales attitude developed in similar roles : presentation skills, demonstration techniques, public speaking.
Experienced in driving discovery sessions and delivering high-quality presentations and demonstrations to both business and technical audiences.
Self motivated individual with strong customer interaction and presentation skills. Can interpret and address customer needs Understands the implications of technology on both development and market opportunities
Hands-on product experience, depth of product knowledge and a willingness to work with Oracle BI products would be an important driver of success in this role.
A high-level understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and design would be valued, as would experience with ETL tools.
Educated to degree level in a technical or business discipline.
Must be able to demonstrate personal integrity, professional authority and a positive attitude in all dealings both internal and external to the company.
