Senior Mechanical Site/ Owner Engineer: CCGT
A European consultancy are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team on site in the Ivory Coast. Working on behalf of the owner you shall be responsible for supervising the installation and commissioning of the EPC Contractor's mechanical work and an upgrade of a plant. The plant currently is an open cycled based on 2 GT13E2 turbines and is being upgrade by the addition of 2 Heat recovery steam generator and 1 steam turbine generator.
Key requirements for the role include:
- Senior Mechanical Engineer at least on BA level
- At least 15 years in Power Plant business with site experience on Combined Cycle Power Plants
- Process experience on Combined Cycle Power Plant or Steam Power Plants
- Commissioning, Testing and Start-up experience preferably also as owner's engineer for mechanical systems of power plants (CCPP/ST)
- Language Skills: English with EPC contractor/all correspondence & French with local O&M personnel on a communication basis.
