Job Description
Reporting to Plant Manager.
Maintain and service all machinery; including mechanical and electrical aspects. This may involve longer hours in the event of a machine breakdown.
Install and commission equipment and machinery electrically, pneumatically and mechanically
Troubleshoot faults with mechanical, electrical, utilities and pneumatic systems.
General building maintenance.
Monitor and execute Planned Preventative Maintenance on various systems.
Diagnose breakdown problems.
Organising teams to make sure 24-hour cover is available.
Supervising engineering and technical staff.
Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
Desired Profile:
Previous Technical management experience of at least 3 years in a Food factory.
Experience of developing and implementing Technical Strategy.
Experience of managing a Technical Team.
Ideally Mechanical engineer or electrical engineer.
Able to prioritize workload to achieve challenging deadline.
Have a sufficient level to lead the technical teams.
