This is a customer facing role to provide commercial support to the partners and co-ordination across Cote d’Ivoire to achieve volume of MGFC and GFE objectives through supporting the execution of the Partner AOP to ensure we win in market now and in the future.
Diageo needs, inspired, motivated and equipped commercial managers capable of exceeding the goals.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration qualification minimum.
- Fluent French and English
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience within a FMCG Company. Functional experience within an operational function would be an advantage. Bottler or key account experiences an added advantage.
- Experience in executing trade and consumer strategies and activities.
- Ability to translate strategies into action plans - knows what it takes to make things happen on the ground - and conflict resolution.
- Computer literacy (word, excel, power point Others)
As sales development manager, you should be able to:
Plan: Joint Customer Plan, Customer Information and Sales & Operation Planning
- Do Key Customers/Partners Information and update a it every 6 months.
- Build a strong and efficient win-win JCP with the Partner regards to Brand and Customer Marketing plan to beat the AOP.
- Provide analysis and presentation support to the Partner, Customer Marketing Team and Line Managers to achieve monthly target.
- Participate to the S&OP process with reliable Monthly Sales forecast (Depletion & Raw Material) base on commercial and consumer insights.
- Review and Confirm Quarterly Activity Plan ahead (3 months before).
- Implement brilliantly the JCP marketing activities and Cold program
- Respect the Brand Strategy and Diageo Marketing Code
- Support the deployment of consumer and experiential activities across the country
- Measure and Evaluate key activities / Track and Monitor, in the weekly basics business performance through sales review and analysis
- Update Outlet census Segmentation Quarterly.
- Ensure that the RTC is fully understood by all stakeholders and review on weekly basics (outlet coverage, routing, distribution numeric)
- Coach and train the local sales team and 3r Party key people using Diageo Way of Selling
- Give individual SMART objectives to the Sales Team
- Manage A&P budgets with the Line Manager
- Inspire people by spending 30% time in Sales Force accompaniments
- Monthly Quality of the Sales Reports ON TIME.
- Do Monthly meeting and report to Partner based on Dashboard and Sales with Action Plan.
Manage Production & Product Availability (Capacity/RTM)  
- PART OF THE S&OP Process SUPPLY REVIEW.
- With the Partner, Ensure and Manage Production Planning / Empty Bottles return / Empty Bottles and Crates Stock for efficient monthly production.
- Ensure production and product availability issue are well known by all stakeholders and action plan done and follow up.
- Manage RAW (GFE/MGFC) material Stock and ensure that any issues are escalated quickly
