Operations Improvement and Change Management Manager - Africa (Cote d’Ivoire) - Africa, based out of the UK or Australia

Our client is a growing international operational improvement boutique with excellent potential
Contribute towards a successful client engagement by applying skilled knowledge in performing assigned project tasks within the targeted completion time and within specified limits.
Contribute towards Service Delivery’s development by executing assigned tasks, designing and developing tools and systems, and sharing skills, knowledge and expertise.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Work with the Project Manager to develop a strategy for your work; translate that strategy into specific time bound actions
2. Work directly with client personnel to execute the agreed strategy in an assigned workstream / area or within a specialised area of expertise, bringing the full extent of your knowledge, skills and experience to bear at all times to successfully achieve project deliverables.
3. Develop and deliver training and coaching material (documents and/or presentations) that shares skills and knowledge.
4. Manage local relationship with client to ensure acceptance and buy in of client principles, and the effective awareness of project accomplishments
5. Assist project manager in developing client team members including the effective transfer of skills to client team members
6. Identify more work opportunities within client operation; solicit endorsements or references Identify areas for service delivery improvement
7. Adhere to company policy. identifying areas of policy that need to be clarified / revised
8. Develop and implement, in conjunction with Project Manager (PM) and Account Manager (AM), personal development plan that broadens knowledge and expertise
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
· Capable of presenting and discussing complex strategic issues to managers, especially in relation to the translation of strategy into operational outcomes.
SENIOR CONSULTANT ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Fluency in French and English
- Obtained “can train others” level of understanding of 75% of our client's intermediate level Toolbox modules. E.g. Lean, Six Sigma ToC,
- Requisite Organisation and an
understanding sufficient to engage in a dialogue of how these concepts in
combination lead to operational success.
- Able to apply learning from past experiences to operational improvements in the
client’s situation.
- Be able to engage in a dialogue regarding a client’s operational issues by understanding the organisation, the broader industry context and the industry
language.
- Able to proficiently project manage consulting assignments according to a defined scope of works and budget.
- An understanding of how a business review is conducted, its purpose and what work is required.
- Solid prior experience in a consulting, people management or supervisory capacity.
- A university degree
managerial role.
- Understand how to position the client in client engagements for referrals, references
and repeats.
· Understand the account plan structure and the consultant’s role in its
implementation.
