Employer: Millar Cameron LtdThe ideal Sawmill Manager will have previous experience of working in Hardwood milling operations, and have previous experience of working in remote environments.The main responsibilities of the successful Sawmill Manager will be:
• Responsible for the overall operation of the entire sawmill or parts of it.
• Work closely with operations teams to make sure customers get the products they want.
• Ensure environmental and legal requirements are all met.
• Work closely with the maintenance team in order to keep the mill running at all times.
Personal Requirements:
• A relevant Degree or similar qualification in Forestry or Agriculture.
• Previous experience in a Sawmill Management role is essential.
• Experience of working in South America will be advantageous.
• Fluency in English is essential; Spanish would be looked on favourably.
