Mackenzie Stuart is working in collaboration with one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the upstream oil and gas industry. With offices covering more than 50 countries, the company has a significant presence in all major oil & gas producing regions. Their Drill Bits product service line is widely recognised as a market leader and offers a comprehensive service, from high quality manufacturing to technical field support.
2015 is set to be an exciting year for the business, with Drill Bits production and sales figures forecasted to surpass previous company records. With aggressive plans to increase their activity in the Africa market, they are looking to hire a Senior Sales Representative to be based out of Abidjan, covering sales and business development across Ivory Coast. The Sales Representative is vital to the organisations intentions of growing their market share significantly in this oilfield location by strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
• Developing sales and pricing strategies, managing accounts, contracts and producing revenue forecasts whilst promoting Drill Bit products.
• Build and strategically foster customer relationships with key contacts to ensure sales metrics are met and expectations exceeded, whilst liaising between sales team and corporate HQ.
• Sales leadership across the entire country providing strategic vision, direction and training to a sales team.
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this role carries a significant degree of authority and autonomy naturally requiring an innovative leader. You will have spent a minimum of 5 years in the upstream oil and gas service sector, possessing a wealth of proven Sales / Business Development experience within the Drill Bits domain. Degree educated, you will have shown consistent progression throughout your career. Prior experience in the Africa region is advantageous although non-essential.
In return the successful candidate can expect a very generous remuneration package consisting of: Basic Salary of USD $80,000 - $120,000 (dependent on experience) + Attractive Bonus Plan + Benefits.
